Volvo Trucks is now presenting its transport magazine also as a web magazine. Volvo Trucks’ customer magazine is published in 28 countries around Europe, with the same main articles and complemented by local material, reaching more than 2.5 million readers. Visitors to the web site will not only find a comprehensive archive of articles from current and previous issues of the magazine, but also unique web content, such as web TV. An advanced search function helps visitors find what is most interesting.

“Our objective is to describe truck drivers’ and operators’ everyday life and the challenges they face in their line of business. The customer magazines are about looking at the transport industry from different perspectives – from independent, family owned and managed companies to that of owner operators and even the larger fleets. We are also discussing wider issues in the transport industry generally” says Susanne Frödin, manager for Volvo Trucks’ customer magazines in Europe.
“It is a goldmine of exciting articles about trucks and the transport industry. In the magazine you will find industry and product news, plus also a look behind the scenes into the fascinating technology driving product development forward.
“With many readers already accessing their favourite news channels and blogs on the web, both on mobile devices and via their PC, it is a natural move for us to extend the platforms on which the customer magazines are available. Most importantly, by publishing a web magazine, we can interact directly with our readers. It is all about getting closer to them through this new, user-friendly, information packed online version of the customer magazines. After all, the magazine really belongs to our readers. It’s their magazine.”

To visit the customer magazines online, just click on this link: At the bottom of the web site you can change to your local country’s magazine web site from a scroll-down menue.
