The 3,000-sqm large facility will be a multifunction service station and offer workshop services, sales of trucks and spare parts as well as financial services, everything under one roof.

“Serbia is an important business region due to the strong economic growth, and we plan to further develop our presence in the country,” says Roger Alm, Director Region East at Volvo Trucks.

In 2007 Volvo Trucks delivered 560 trucks in the Serbian market.  Volvo Trucks has operated in Serbia since 1998 and has now three wholly-owned Volvo Truck Centers; in Novi Sad, in Cacak and in Novi Banovci, situated 20 km from Belgrade.

“Broadening our range of services and getting closer to the customer is a cornerstone in our strategy. We are constantly developing our sales and service network and the opening in Serbia is in line with these ambitions”, concludes Volvo Trucks’ President and CEO Staffan Jufors.
