Volvo Construction Equipment wins Shanghai quality award

The 2009 Shanghai Municipality Quality Award has been presented to Volvo Construction Equipment’s Chinese operations for its quality management systems and business processes.

The Shanghai Quality Award recognizes enterprises that have achieved outstanding performances in the field of quality management. It is assessed by the Shanghai Quality Association in compliance with the Chinese Criteria for Excellent Performance and National Standards. After a review process that took many months, Volvo Construction Equipment China, together with eight other companies, successfully completed the final assessment and was granted the recognition by the SQA.
