At this Industrial & Marine Commercial exhibition Volvo Penta presents the third phase of the IPS system based on the 13-liter marine diesel. The new IPS package generates the equivalent of 1050 hp. Furthermore Volvo Penta exhibit its unique range of diesel engines including the ATEX compliant range for Zone 2.

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the world’s foremost event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection.

OTC, held annually at Reliant Center in Houston, Texas, USA, has this year attracted more than 2,500 exhibiting companies representing more than 38 countries. From May 3 to May 6 the number of attendees is expected to reach some 67,000 representing 134 countries.
