After experiencing the performance and reliability of our engines in their equipments and good aftermarket support extended by Volvo Penta dealers across the country which made them feel confident in Volvo Penta. Added to this the good relationship developed by Volvo Penta India team helped to secure an order for 150 Nos TAD620VE engines for their series productions of stationery concrete pump model BSA 1409D and truck mounted concrete boom pump model BSF 36 from their Goa plant till September 2011.
Also Volvo Penta India secured an order for 4 Nos TAD722VE Pilot engine order from Putzmeister Concrete machines, India for their heavy duty stationery concrete pump. The first lot of 2 Nos TAD722VE engine will be supplied shortly for their proto type equipment which is planned for commissioning before Q2 2011.
This will fetch more after market business for Volvo Penta India. This brake through order has helped Volvo Penta to strengthen the versatile engine presence in India and this has attracted many other OEM’s in concrete pump and material handing segment to look upon Volvo Penta for their power needs.

Putzmeister Concrete Machines Pvt Ltd., India is wholly owned subsidiary of Putzmeister AG, started their operation in India during 2007. They initially started importing the complete equipment and during 2009 Putzmeister started assembling the equipment at their Goa, plant.
