Volvo Penta Industrial at Volvo Days

For a number of weeks every year customers and dealers are invited to Sweden for participation at The Volvo Days. An impressive demo-show at the Customer Center is one of the highlights. At Customer Center the guests also have the opportunity for test driving supported by instructors.
Volvo Penta was well represented both in the indoor exhibition with a new D13VE engine as well as installed in customers applications. According to Peter Karlsson, Head of Industrial, Region Europe, the organisers will expect up to 3000 visitors during May 24 to July 18. More than 90 journalists visited the special press event during the opening days. “I was very impressed by Sandvik who showed two of their latest screeners/crushers, model uj440i, in full action, powered by Volvo Penta diesel engines”, ends Peter.

Except from the stay at Customer Center in Eskilstuna the Volvo Days’ program offers other destinations in Sweden. Visits to the wheel loader plant in Arvika, the articulated hauler plant in Braås and to the Volvo engine plant in Skövde are widely appreciated trips. A large number of guests also take the opportunity to visit Stockholm. The Munktell Museum is always included in the Volvo Days’ program.
