Volvo CE news show wins Telly Award

Volvo Construction Equipment’s Americas News Minute has taken a bronze in the 34th Annual Telly awards

The Telly Awards has named Volvo Construction Equipment, its PR agency SE10 and its video partner, Take One Productions as a Bronze winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for the online video series Americas New Minute. Chosen from almost 11,000 entries from across the US and internationally, this is a welcome accolade.

The ongoing video series, Americas News Minute, is distributed on the company’s online news channel with the objective of keeping employees and the public informed on what’s happening in and around the company. Topics range from community involvement to the opening of a new regional headquarters. The video series was a new communication tool implemented to engage employees in a different and time-efficient way.

“We are pleased to be recognized by others who see the value in these videos,” said Bill Law, Vice President of Corporate Communications at Volvo. “We wanted to develop something that gave employees across North America and Latin America information in an accessible, entertaining and efficient way. The Americas News Minutes are just that – short, snappy and packed with useful information.”
