The National Marine Manufacturers Association has recognized Volvo Penta with a CSI award for excellence in customer satisfaction for the tenth consecutive year.

(CHESAPEAKE, Va.) – Sept. 19, 2013 – The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) has recognized Volvo Penta with a CSI award for excellence in customer satisfaction for the tenth consecutive year.

Volvo Penta received the award at the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2013 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Sept. 17. The CSI program highlights commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, as well as support of industry efforts to improve the consumer boating experience.

The CSI award signifies that Volvo Penta achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction, based on information provided by over 50,000 consumers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period from April 2012 through March 2013.

“At Volvo Penta we are committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control, innovative products and after-sale support,” said Ron Huibers, president of Volvo Penta of the Americas. “Special thanks go to our extraordinary network of servicing dealers, who played a critical role in helping us achieve this honor for the tenth year in a row.”
